I’ve worked on countless projects (and moved seven times!) over the years, and something I’ve learned is that artwork can make your space truly feel like a home. It makes a HUGE impact. Art is one of the many ways I like to inject my clients’ personalities in their spaces, so I always leave room in the budget for it. Luckily, there are so many amazing places out there to find affordable artwork that your shopping options are truly endless! Here are some of my favorite places (and artists) if you’re in the mood to peruse …

  • Saatchi Art - I’m a huge fan of Martine Mooijenkind and her tiny surreal collages, especially #1 and #2 above. I’d love to see these popped in a bookcase or unexpectedly in a powder room!

  • Art.com - Great for art history buffs and fans of the classics. And an interior designer who shall remain nameless that’ll never in a million years be able to afford her own original Rothko (#3) or Warhol (#4).

  • Etsy - A treasure trove of fun, affordable prints! I really like this cake print by Julia Ockert (#5), and this cheeky print made me chuckle (#6).

  • Artfully Walls - Like Saatchi, Artfully Walls has a large yet curated library of artists and pieces ranging in size and price. I especially love Greek artist Eleni Psyllaki, whose graphic artwork reflects her background in architecture and interior design (#7 and #8).

  • Everart Prints - Serene and tasteful, and perfect for a library, office, or nursery (they even have gallery walls!). I was especially drawn to the Cloud Studies (like #9) for their moody, Fornasetti-esque quality.

  • Laurie Anne Art - Laurie’s art will add a pop of cheerful color to any space. I love the dreamy quality of her pieces, and I have my eye on Vibrant Valley (#10)!
